ORDERING

The ordering process begins by scheduling an appointment, either online or by phone at 800-980-2007 or, if you have a drawing to send us, you can get a free quote by sending us a drawing of your countertop. Once you have selected the type of stone countertop that you want and we have created an agreement, the templating portion of the process can begin.

TEMPLATING

Once we have received your signed contract and deposit, we coordinate a date to take measurements and create a template for your countertops. In some cases, the template can be created on the same day we make our initial visit to your home.

We can create a digital template for most projects. The principal advantage to digital templating is the ability to template a project without causing kitchen/bath ?downtime.? Every home is different, so the configuration and layout of your project will determine whether we can create your template without removing your current countertops.

Situations that may require removal of the current countertops prior to template include:

Questionable structural integrity of your current cabinets
Unusual countertop layout of your project

FABRICATION

The quality of your finished product will vary based on several key issues: 1- hand fabrication versus fabrication with a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine

What is a CNC machine?

Compare the precision of a circle drawn by hand versus one drawn by a computer. In some cases, countertops are cut and polished by hand, but when done with a CNC machine, you can expect the ultimate finished product.

Inspection of your slab
Your template is placed on the slab and traced with a White-Out® pen
The slab is cut along the traced white outline
The profile edges and sink cut-outs are all cut and polished
